By submitting this form I understand that:
1) The student will need to practise at least two hours a week for 12 weeks before the exam
2) The day and time of the exam will be confirmed once the booking is accepted by ABRSM
3) The exam fee is non refundable (including if you cancel the exam)
4) I understand that any lessons missed will likely impact on the exam result
5) Your instrument must be a piano or digital piano. A non weighted keyboard is not suitable for practise.
6) I will purchase all required materials (sightreading book, scale book and exam pieces)
7) The student must use the ABRSM aural app and practise an hour a week minimum. There is an additional cost for this.
8) Your exam result cannot be guaranteed by your teacher.
9) Your details submitted by this form will be shared with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) for booking purposes.
10) The exam takes place at the Friargate Meeting House (quaker rooms) in York. You'll need to make your own way there and back, including parental supervision for younger students.
11) The exam fee must be paid in full at the time of booking to me by BACS please.
12) You must pass a mock exam by an independent external examiner before your exam booking is confirmed. This is to ensure you are ready and help you prepare.
